Dr. George M Srampickal

Dr. George M Srampickal is one of the leading Orthopaedic & Joint Replacement Surgeons practicing in Alappuzha.

He started his Orthopaedic practice as a Junior Resident in the Department of Orthopaedics at Govt T D Medical College Alappuzha in 2011. After finishing a master’s degree in Orthopaedics from Christian Medical College, Vellore, one of India’s largest tertiary care mission hospitals with excellent exposure to the large volume of trauma and state-of-the-art facilities he started his independent orthopedic practice at Providence Hospital Alappuzha and SH Hospital Cherthala.

Dr. George routinely performs complex surgeries and operates daily at hospitals conducting major surgeries with orthopedic Trauma, Total Knee Replacement (TKR) Total Hip Replacement (THR), revision arthroplasties. He believes in spreading the knowledge that he has himself earned through education and teaching. Dr. George believes that the quest for true knowledge never ends, which is why he continues to update his knowledge and skills by conducting and attending conferences and continuing medical education programs

Dr. George M Srampickal graduated from Govt TD Medical College Alappuzha in 2011.

MS - Orthopaedics

Dr. George did a master’s degree in Orthopaedics from Christian Medical College, Vellore, one of India’s largest tertiary care hospitals with excellent exposure to the large volume of trauma and state-of-the-art facilities. This is a three-year post-graduation course of The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University Chennai.

Dr. George M Srampickal successfully passed the Diplomate of National Board examinations conducted by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi in 2017

Fellowship in Arthroscopy

Dr. Salman Mohammed Abdul Salam is a leading Orthopaedic and Arthroscopic Surgeon based in Alleppey. He finished his DNB in orthopaedic surgery from Medical Trust Hospital, Cochin, which is one of the best trauma care centre in central Kerala. He further did his senior residency in Orthopaedics from Govt TD Medical College, Alleppey. He then went on for advanced training in Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty in Rajagiri hospital, Cochin. He then joined as an Orthopaedic surgeon in Providence Hospital, Alleppey where his primary interest was Arthroscopic surgeries in knee, hip and shoulder. He is currently pursuing his MCh in upper limb surgery in United Kingdom, which was awarded as an ISKSAA arthroscopy fellowship. He is continuing to update his skills and knowledge primarily in complex arthroscopic procedures through the fellowship program.

Dr. Minju Mary Varghese

Dr. Minju Mary Varghese is one of the leading Anaesthesiologists practicing in Alappuzha. She did Diploma in Anaesthesiology (DA) from Christian Medical College, Vellore, one of India’s largest tertiary care hospitals with excellent exposure to the large volume of trauma and state-of-the-art facilities. She was awarded a gold medal for being the best outgoing student by Christian Medical College Vellore. After completing DA, she did DNB in Anaesthesiology from Baby Memorial Hospital Calicut. She is practicing as a consultant anaesthesiologist at SH Hospital Cherathla and Providence Hospital Alappuzha.

Her areas of interest are regional, general and pediatric anesthesia. She is constantly improving her knowledge and skills by attending workshops and conferences.
